House Down Payment

We've been evicted from the house we have been renting for the last 4 years. We have 60 days to vacate the premises. We both hate the idea of asking for help, but we need a down payment for our own house.
Rental prices in our area are astronomical. You can make a mortgage payment for less than most places rent for. On top of that, we have three dogs and finding another rental unit willing to house us and our three pups is very unlikely. Also, even if we find a place that allows us to have our three dogs, our rent will go up by at least 50%, which will mean we won't be able to save for a home in the future. We both work in social work, and that's not a super money making venture.
Honestly, we're both terrified that we'll be forced to get rid of one or more of our family members in order to find another rental unit, and that's unthinkable.

Can you fight or delay the eviction?: No. In Ontario, a current owner can make you move out with 60 days notice and one months rent. Our house was bought, and a new owner only has to give a tenant 60 days notice. This is where we're at right now.
Didn't you know?: We knew a week ago that the house was being sold. We were told by the current owner and the rental property management company that it wouldn't affect us in any way, because it was being sold to investors and they had no desire to move in. This was a complete surprise.
When do you have to be out?: We need to have somewhere new to live by September 30, 2020.
Do you really have 3 dogs?: Yes. We have a 7 year old Lab, a 2 year old rescue Saluki and a 6 year old Chihuahua. You can see pictures of them below.
